Your free homepages
Seeing your homepage built three ways costs nothing and commits you to nothing. You only pay if you pick one.
Paying for your site
You pay once, at checkout. Because you've seen your homepage before you pay, payment is final once your site is built.
If we can't build your site
If Vic can't finish building your site, Vic tries again. If it still can't, we automatically refund everything you paid at checkout (including any hosting paid at the same time), cancel the hosting and email you. You don't need to ask. A refunded site is closed: the editor and the download go with it. If your homepage is built but some other pages can't be, you keep your site with those pages left out, and we add enough to Vic's tank for Vic to build them again at no cost to you.
Vic's tank top-ups
A £5 top-up is final once bought. The tank isn't money, so it can't be refunded, cashed in or moved to another site.
Hosting
Cancel any time in your account (Hosting, then Manage billing). Hosting carries on to the end of the month or year you've paid for, and we don't refund part periods. After it ends your site stays online for 14 days, then shows a "temporarily unavailable" page. Your site stays in your account, so you can download the files or host it again.
If we take a site down for breaking our rules (terms section 9), we end its hosting at once and stop charging for it; the rest of the period isn't refunded. We email you why, and you can reply for a person at Hi-Vis to look at it again.
If we ever stop offering hosting, we'll email you at least 60 days before and refund the part of any yearly hosting you've paid for that you won't get.
If something's wrong
If something we've done isn't working as it should, email us and we'll put it right. Hi-Vis is for businesses (sole traders included), so the 14-day consumer cancellation period doesn't apply. Nothing here limits any rights you have by law.
How refunds are paid
Refunds go back to the card you paid with, normally within 5 to 10 working days.
